The company is looking for a talented Junior Video Producer to work with the numerous brands and agencies within the company Network to create exciting, inspiring and bespoke video content. Your time will be divided between assisting with post-production, editing, processing and video delivery to assisting with on-location filming and liaising with clients.The company is looking for someone who is able to take a clients brief and transform it into engaging audience specific video content for multiple platforms. You will help in the creation of show reels, pitch videos, award and case study videos, and will be able to capture events and tell a story to create excitement around a product or idea. 

Main Responsibilities 

1.Taking and understanding a brief to grasp the client’s needs and specifications 
2.Developing creative briefs and stories 
3.Review brief/script to create shot decision list/storyboard 
4.Assisting on location at film shoots/live events 
5.Edit and deliver high quality video content 
6.Organising digital files from a shoot, cutting and editing the files to put together the sequence of a film 
7.Editing footage, colour correcting, grading and colouring 
8.Able to produce, edit and create motion graphics 
9.Inputting music, voice-overs, graphics and effects 
10.Creating rough and final cuts 
11.Working closely with creative director and client from production to post-production process 
12.Continuously discovering and implementing new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximise efficiency 

The Ideal Candidate 

1.Relevant Film/Videography degree, master degree is a plus  
2.A flare for editing and proficiency in using Final Cut Pro X/After Effects/Adobe Premiere 
3.A keen eye for detail 
4.Creativity and a passionate interest in film and video editing 
5.Design experience of Creative Cloud and its software including Photoshop & Illustrator 
6.The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team 
7.Organisational and time management skills 
8.The ability to work under pressure and to deadline

Job Description

  • To work effectively to ensure all content is thoroughly researched and meets the Channel’s editorial standards.
  • To undertake independent research to a broad or specific brief, using all sources of reference, both internal and external, including proper note-taking.
  • Such research may involve either a journalistic or academic approach, and may involve finding and contacting individuals and organisations; finding locations for filming; identifying and selecting stock shots and film clips; making a preliminary selection of suitable material and music.
  • Evaluate research in terms of programme aims and intentions and write persuasive treatments and concise briefs on potential stories and contributors for both directors and expert presenters
  • To be involved in researching and setting up filming, including the identification of suitable programme contributors, locations and storylines, working closely at all times to the editorial brief of the Producer. To recce people and places in advance of filming and, where appropriate, negotiate access.
  • To script material effectively. 
    Breaks script into scenes and formulate a shooting schedule that is cost effective economically
  • To communicate effectively and build strong relationships with contributors, presenters and experts.


SKILLS: 

  • Familiarity with techniques and sources for the verification of the accuracy of material.
  • Proven ability to understand complex information and translate that into compelling television.

Our new Social Media/Admin Assistant will have the ability to engage audiences by generating creative and strategic digital content across social media for a range of clients operating in diverse industry sectors.

Strong web and social media analytical understanding is required, to gain insight into what audiences want to know from our clients and through which channels they want to consume their messages.
