Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager’s role is fast paced, demanding and exciting. As well as daily team leadership, they build relationships with clients; manage systems, processes and operations. Above all they are brand ambassadors, always leading by example.

The Assistant Manager also creates effective schedules that ensure adequate coverage, maintains attendance tracking, reviews departmental logs for completion and accuracy, provides support and direction to all staff members, and assists with implementation and monitoring of the new processes and projects.

Marketing Assistant 

 

The Assistant Manager, Marketing will provide support to the Director Marketing, focusing on the needs of UK & Ireland, leading the development of marketing plans for these countries, providing marketing expertise and support to the Market leader. The individual will have specific responsibility for media planning, developing briefs, providing hands on support for artwork approval process and managing the local media buying agency.The individual will co-ordinate local marketing initiatives across all disciplines and monitor competitor activity and feedback results to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  1. In partnership with the Director of Marketing, develop 360 plans to support yearly initiatives, working with local teams, to develop a marketing strategy for each individual market.
  2. Be the marketing business partner for key local relationships, e.g. department store strategies and planning.
  3. Liaise with other functions (PR, CRM, CVM, Merchandising, Retail team and Regional Marketing) to align on the strategic direction and marketing execution.
  4. Conduct market trend analysis. Assist in execution of any given country-wide research projects, keeping current on trends, the local media landscapes and competitive activity, reporting back on findings and updates.

Completion of ROI analysis on campaigns.

Media Planning:

  1. Work with the Director to execute country plans, manage local issues and facilitate the execution of the plan with the agencies and Regional Marketing.
  2. Brief and manage local agency to deliver appropriate media plans, in conjunction with country head and Regional Marketing.
  3. Maintain creative schedules by country, ensuring the local markets collaborate with Regional Marketing and Regional Public Relations on creative fulfilment.
  4. Responsible for the production/ artwork approval process.
  5. Monitor all competitor communications.
  6. Evaluate effectiveness of the plan and help Director submit updates on results to Regional Marketing.

As a strong candidate you must have great organisation skills to manage the broad range of tasks, as well as have the ability to manage cross communication between various departments to maintain business efficiency. 

Your role will include:

1.    Managing communication and tasks across the departments

2.    Very hands on with the projects and tasks

3.    Understand social media and ecommerce platforms

4.    Maintain existing and establish new PR relationships with appropriate press and media

5.    Liaise with the designer and the senior team in understanding the brand image in the media

6.    Influence their clothes worn by celebrities in the press and social media
